This Saturday, Devil's Express, with Ogden DIPA from Roosters Brewing Company. Starring Warhawk Tanzania as a martial arts expert fighting a demon running amok in the subway system of New York. This classic Northwest DIPA, with a solid malt profile and piney hops aroma and flavor was just the beer we needed to climb aboard the Devil's Express. Join us.

The Seventh Victim, with Bokrijks Belgian Golden Ale, from Brouwerij Sterkens. A young woman goes in search of her missing sister and uncovers quite possibly the most unthreatening cult of devil worshippers in cinema history. And we drink a delicious Belgian beer from a brewery that's been around since 1651. It's an interesting film that tackles some taboo subjects for that time, and the beer is dynamite. Join us this Saturday.

Fred Olen Ray's 1980 shoestring budget picture concerns a meteor hitting a houseboat of partiers in a Florida swamp, turning them all into flesh eating zombies! We think. A lot of ins, a lot of outs with this one, but we're pretty sure that's what they were going for. All the gators are gone from the swamp, but people keep going gator hunting! It's a weird, wild picture, and we got a little deep into this week's beer, Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale, from Founders Brewing Co., in order to properly discuss it. Join us.

Trick question, of course you have, and we took a deep dive into this forgotten film noir about an undercover fire fighter battling crooks engaging in arson and insurance fraud! And what better beer to sip during this than the original Smoked Marzen from Schlenkerla. Join us this Saturday for the fireworks.

We're mixing it up for the new year, and releasing Ghostkeeper, the little known 1981 Canadian horror film, this Friday. Set on New Year's Eve, this features a trio of folks snowmobiling in the mountains, disrespecting and disregarding the locals and landing themselves in a bad spot. Is there a ghost? Sorta? There certainly is some keeping, though. To go with this film set in sub zero temps, we chose Stock Ale, from Guinness Open Gate Brewery, a blend of Barleywine and Imperial Stout aged in barrels from Bulleit Bourbon. Get a fire in the fireplace, curl up with a beer to fight off the chill and join us this Friday.

This Saturday, we're getting down and dirty with 1963's The Sadist, and quaffing Mischief, from The Bruery. Loosely based on Charles Starkweather's murder spree, this grim piece of work stars Arch Hall, Jr., son of B-Movie legend Arch Hall, Sr. and some amazing cinematography from future Oscar recipient Vilmos Zsigmond. This one's not to be missed. The Mischief flows on and off the screen. Join us.
